I love ordering stuff from Summit. Don't get me wrong. That's where I ordered all my BBK springs, c/c plates, poly-bushings, and stuff. I love it!!! I can place an order and it gets to me in 1 1/2 days.... GROUND SHIP!!! It only has to go from mid Ohio to Southern Indiana. I would rather pay alittle extra, than have to wait for something.
I've just lost faith in "their" name brand stuff.

That was the first and only time I ordered from Jegs. I prefer Summit but usually go with Late model, C.J's, or Mustangs Unlimited.

i would call summit and report it to them. you never know you could have just happen to get a bad one before their quality control check. everything i have bought from them is awesome. I did have one problem with my cat back system, the driver side hanger was welded about...10* off of where it was supposed to be. called summit and they said they were aware, they had someone call in earlier that week and it has already been corrected.

i mean a hanger is no big deal but the bends of the pipe were wrong. you have to notify otherwise they might have an error that no one knows about it. its not like they sell thousands upon thousands of that type of unit so maybe someone just like you got pissed and didnt say anything. how does summit know? its up to the consumer for review and reports.

summit has very high quality stuff especially since alot of it is another brand with a summit name on it. customer service is unparalleled. and shipping/ shipping cost is amazingly cheap and fast. (not normally two words you see together

your supposed to use RTV between the upper and lower on both sides of the gaskets. even the felpro gasket is crappy and looks like cardboard.... the bolts though... I cant even almost explain that.. but thanks for the heads up.

haha one of my friends buys from jegs! the only thing I ever bought from jegs was a mass air wire harness for my conversion... everything else is summit or ebay

i dont do that.... i do however rtv the lower to the block, on the front and the back... but thats not related at all right now
