351 or new tires= 351

Default 351 or new tires= 351

hi stang brotherhood i´m on a dilema right here
i dont know ifi buy a 351 longblock out of a 95 lightning or continue building mycar as is(on the looks) i think if i go with the 351 i would have to buy headers, intake, etc
that = $$$
or build a 347 with my current stock 302, tires, cobra body kit = money too so what would you guys do??

The 351 will give you more leeway on making bigger numbers. If you stroke the 302 to a 347, you will still be limited by the strength of the 302 block. If it were me, I would go with the 351.

Thats the 351 roller block... I would ****** that thing up as quicklyy as possible... then put it on the stand and start pouring money into it. I would build a 408 with 10.5:1 compression and RHS alum heads with a huge cam. Then build your car around the motor.

Either way your gonna spend the money.. So i would get the 351 and go that route.. That way you can drive your car wihile you build the motor.. Unless your situation is otherwise..

this is a good option
Now
- will my 24lb injectors support it?
- my fuel rails wont fit either right?
- what about my ECC would it be OK with a TUNE?¿

sooo displacement won!! i have the 351 at a mybro's shop first we are going to clean it, i got it for $275 and sold the GT40s before ipick it up!sooo taraaaam! got the block for 25 bucks! cool isn't it?!
now i'll probably go with
- 42lb injectors
- 408 forged stroker kit
- 1 3/4 long tubes
do you guys know if i can make my SSi fit in my 351 maybe if i use a stock 351 lower intakeout of a F-250 and port it ?
is it true that MSD doesn't makes Distributor for 351 EFI
lets see how this developes

I think 351's can use the same aftermarket intakes as 302's.

If they are made specifically for a 351, then yes. A 302 isnt wide enough.
