Eliminating the EGR system
Once again I'm new to this forum so if this is in the wrong spot lemme know and sorry.
I recently posted a topic asking for some help with a problem Im having. Tonight, after I get off work at 6, I plan to finish my project. Cut the cats out, rewire my radiator fan (long story there), and I wanted to eliminate my EGR system. For some reason I think my car's EGR is stuck open, it's a strong hunch but in any case I don't like the thought of recycling exhaust gases anyway so I want it out.
Only problem is I don't know how to go about it entirley, I was hoping somebody here has done it or knows of a good reference I could use, and possibly what I need to plug the holes and whatnot. I was thinking I could just use a regular galvanized plug for the header, right?
In any case, any help is appretiated.
Nick
