its a resistor that plugs into your coolant temp sensor to make the computer think the coolant is somewhere around 75 degrees all the time, thus leaving the computer in an open loop mode.

I dunno, I find it hard to believe that that chip will work on any mustang from 93-2000. I doubt a chip for a 5.0/4.6/3.8 will work on any other engine. I also like the, "It will work with both standard and manual transmissions" lol uhh same thing?

yeah i thought that this was complete bs....i HAD to ask though. have any of you guys heard of hypertech?
http://www.hypertech.com/powermodule.html I had one on my 89 chevy 1500 but it was installed by the previous owner....dont know if it made any difference.

After I installed mine, I hit the gas too much and crashed my car. It is really that big of a difference! I swear i'm not a salesman!
