flywheel horsepower not front wheel dip, its all good i made same mistake a few weeks back

Not with an LT1 it didnt.......now if someone had done an LT4 conversion and then sold it to him I could see it. The guy probably knew the ricer would go for the 'special edition' bs more than he would for different heads.

No special edition LT1's. They did make an SS version but the ram air doesnt add any hp to the dyno. I am not sure if the 275 was supposed to be flywheel or rear wheel only because the ls1 models ARE rated to the wheels and NOT flywheel so I dunno if they did that on the LT's also.

my car is basicaly stock and runs right with an LT1 that has "275hp"...

Must be a broke *** one. With a horrible driver those ran low 14's, a decent driver should be able to hit high 13's. Now there might be a big difference in a 93 LT1 and a 97 LT1 as far as how well they would run. Oh yeah the Auto's with the stock 2.73's were crap too so that could be part of it.

found this too....................The revered 5.7 Liter LT1 V8 -- standard in Z28 Coupe and Z28 Convertible -- hasn't been overlooked in the performance department, either. The amazing small block V8 is rated at 285 horsepower. FWIW, my brothers bone stock 94 firehawk ran 13.90's at 103+MPH with 2.3 60ft's. On the stock tires.
