Putty knife and laquer thinner on rags works great... Be careful around the factory joint sealer because the laquer thinner will take that off too!

i used a angle grinder with the cup wire brush attachment and disk wirebrush attachment. for some of the more difficult areas i used smaller stiff wire brushes carb cleaner, laquer thinner tons of rags, putty knife. the underbody was in such terrible condition i decided to go to bare metal then prime and paint. turned out alright. there is some stuff i just couldnt do while i was under there but you cant see it anyways without the mufflers and driveshaft in. even then it looks pretty good. ALOT cleaner. to everyone else. good job on yours, lookin good! i wish mine looked as good as yours!

man i need to get my car up on a lift and powerwash the underbody, are there places that do underbody cleaning

haha nice bump, yeah there are places that wash the underbody, my place washes cars and does tint also

lol, i remember this thread.

yea since all that went down i've replace parts of rusting floor pan, and rubberized the entire bottom side of the body from the gas tank to the trans tunnel. ill try and snap a few pics when i get ready to pull the trans here in a few days.
