Default Best Place for Stroker Kit?

Wondering where is the best place with the best prices on say an Eagle 331 stroker kit. My engine with 204,XXX miles on it is going to need a rebuild in the near future, and I was thinking about going with a stroked 331. Thanks.

exactly..

I swear, if you say anything about oil consumption... imma smack you.

that was a problem with the old 5.4" rod kits.... get one with 5.315 rods, and you will be happier

I don't know, I was thinking about that too, but I was just thinking that I don't plan on building it big enough to suffice the extraci in the 347. Afterall this is my DD, and I do put a lot of miles on it. Maybe I will just do a 306...

I know I am going to regret this question, but what do you all think?

EDIT: Oh and do the 347 kits with 5.315" rods still need the block notching?

I cant give you a clear cut yes or no on the block notching.... but its very likely.... not like its hard work.

you can still easily DD a 347... I plan on doing it next summer.... My block should be arriving in 2 weeks or so

That's another question. What block are you going with? I cracked my last stock block in my 91.

DD'ed my old 347 for a while. how long the motor will last directly relates to how well it was put together

adder is using a stock block

how did u crack your last block?

It had a lot of miles on it when I built it, and the crank walked due to detonation and snapped the crank in half and cracked the #1 and #5 cylinders wide open.
