You might want to only go with a 3.55 gear since you dont have an OD. What altitude do you run at?

I think its 200 meters below sea level out here. If I got 3.73's how much topend would I lose? My RPM at 60MPH is 2750.

Thanx! I'm looking forword to getting my R/T and launch better. Next time I'm gonna run it 5 times insted of 3, just to try some different things. If anyone can help me out on my gear choice, or if you have any thoughts about my E/T hit me up.

how are you launching it?

i run street tires and i start with a big burnout. i know some ppl say its dumb on radials but i find it works.

stall it to about 1200 rpm's (im auto too)

floor it off the line

i got a 2.145 '60 ft on my 14.4 pass doin this

i got stock control arms with kyb agx struts/shocks

25 psi air pressure

Unless your racing Brackets ...R/T means nothing..Concentrate on the launch......get that 60 to a 2.0=something....and yes 3.73 will wake her up.

yeah i just got back from my first time at the track too.
the best i got was a 1/8th time of 9.58 at 75.49 mph.

I do a burnout, but its not anything to huge. Probably only 5 seconds. Then when I'm staged I hold the brake, and rev the motor to about 1200, then floor it off the line. I couldnt hear the car very well with 11-12 second cars beside me 2-3 times, so I dont know if I was spinning at all.

I get what your talking about 8banger . My R/T is onlya small peice of the pie, and a good 60' like 2.000 would shave a lot of the top. I'm gonna hunt down a good 8.8, and rebuild it. I'm sick of 2.73's and one wheel peelin' lol. Thanx for all the feedback, and help! If anyone has any idea's or opinions, let me know.

right on man ya you need some gears i also have 3.73 as i am a stick though ,but still the best mod and wow what a difference you could easily get in the 14's with just gears and then practice your launching.
