What do you guys think about dumps?

What do you guys think about dumps?
Do you guys like the way they sound, do you notice any difference in torque, can you smell any exhaust fumes, etc. I was thinking bout dumping mine just wanted to see what other people thought about dumps.

i have mac pro dumps, im kindof dissappointed because theyre quiet as hell, but i think my midpipe has regular cats or something, but they sound nice, i keep my windows open all the time, so i never smell any fumes.

I don't think I would like the loudness inside the car all the time...that is all it will give you really, it wont make it louder on the outside of the car.

Mines dumped...single chamber flows and O/R Xpipe..loud as hell...inside outside and 2 blocks away...need a sugestion on a quieter muffler...

Well with the old setup the S/C with 3in pipes and dumps it also has a X pipe and flows allI can say is it is very loud. But it will bebetter with the new turbo.As far as smell goes it was no problem at all. Even with the windows up sitting at stop lights.

I don't mind how dumps sound on a car but I would never want them on my car. I ran my Bassani dumped for a couple days and it was so loud it was annoying to drive. I mean yeah it sounded like a complete beast but it made everything in the car vibrate and I had to play my music so loud if i wanted to hear anything but treble. Tailpipes ftw

I just did my X pipe today and cut the tailpipes off for dumps with the new flowmaster 44's. It was really loud. Sounded good, but too loud for me. It vibrated everything and set off 3 car alarms just leaving my neiborhood. I loved the way it sounded but ity is my DD and I just dont think I could do it.
