what kind of gauges???
ok, so i'm thinking about putting some gauges in my car. I'm seeing that everyone puts oil pressure and water temp in theirs, but what is the point of those if you already got them on the dash??? what are 2 gauges(even if those) that i should get in order to keep an eye on whats going on under the hood???

RE: what kind of gauges???
Well the stock gauges arent accurate at all, so the oil and water are good to get. I have vac/boost, trans temp(a must have with a stalled auto), and teh crappy narrowband a/f ratio(worthless) My next two will be oil and water, i shouldve got those first.

what's the point???? the gauges on the dash are electrical...you want accuracy go mechanical!!! I have a ford racing oil pressure gauge on a dual pod on the pillar post and a ford racing gauge for temp there also = very accurate I know when I'm running 180 185 190 and so on do you??? on the cowl I just bought a cowl that houses two gauges one is for nitrous and the other is yet to be determined..probably gonna get a volt gauge but they are autometer gauges on the cowl FTW!!!!
