4 lug size

RE: 4 lug size
The offset is true only to a point. I think I know where this post was meant to head. I once owned an SVT focus. And when I went wheel shopping for it I had a wide variety of offsets that I could choose from.
Most of your import or "ricer" wheels always have an option for different offsets. Due too the fact that one bolt pattern can fit so many cars. That's whyit's possible for someone to put 24" rims on a ford escape. But with the wide range of aftermarket wheels available. I think it's very possible to keep the 4-lugs pattern and get some nice wheels other than drag-lites(or the like). The only downside to 4-lugs is.. If you put more power to the ground a 5-lugaxle will be stronger.
I don't know what the metric conversion size is for our mustangs. But thefocus and escort are 4x108mm. Most other 4-lugs are 4-100mm. But any experienced wheel shop should be able to help.
