Default What times should I run?

Hey guys im going to the track in about 2 or 3 weeks and was wodnering if yall could give me around what times should I be running with my mods?

Mods are in sig. Im thinking high 14's? to low 15's? Its a vert BTW

mid-high 14 i guess.... you need a tire... so you can launch it like you mean it

14's if you want low 14's do your self a favor and get some drag radials...my view is it's a waste to go to the track on street tires cause you won't really get an accurate time on what the car runs cause you won't be able to launch hard due to excessive wheel spin

i agree... hell i try to avoid racing on the street w. street tires.. usually, if im going to race the car, its on dragradials

Your first run is gonna be slippery and in the 16 range then your gonna ride that clutch right, get a good launch and get down to the low 14's.

It's an automatic, I dont think he'll ride the clutch

As for ET, what altitude are you at? Mid 15's if it's a higher altitude track, mid 14's at lower altitude. Try lauching off idle and let the converter flash, then try to power brake it and see what the diff is in the 60 ft. Manually shift it at around 5500 but vary it on different runs to find what the car likes.

And have fun, the adrenaline rush for the 1st couple runs is cool
