firing order

the injector wiring should be easy to tell.. just straghten it out.. they should fall in order.

On my distributor cap, it is labled like it is on this picture. There is a number 1 next to one. do i start at the one marked number 1 or do i still rotate counter clockwise?

Where that pic shows #3 at, needs to be number one, where it shows #1 at is where # 8 should be.. etc, etc.... its just off one position... doesnt matter where you start putting the wires on at as long as they all go to the correct places.

I'm guessing your #1 plug wires is located in this position from the clip then?


This is taken from the 89 Ford Shop Manual, and how mine was wired from the factory.
