I took my tail pipes off today so I could see what dumps sounded like(which they sound pretty good) but I noticed a power loss on low RPMs. You guys with dump notice this? Should I put on a smaller diameter dump to give me some more backpressure? Whats the deal?

did you really notice a difference? when i went from tail pipes to dumps on my old car i couldnt tell a difference except it was louder

Yup, I noticed a difference, not huge, but some.

i went from STOCK exhaust to 2.5 o/r h pipe and dumped flows... i didnt notice a loss at all... if anything it woke it up a little

i actually just took my tailpipes off today cause my tires were rubbing one of the tailpipes. gotta get new tires anyways but i am going to run these runs until they are dead. either way. it is so much louder then withtailpipes it isn't even funny. i didn't notice a pwoer difference at all. i really doubt you are noticing a power difference either it is just all in your head. the mind is a very strong thing when it comes to stuff like that.

I guess I am crazy then, or maybe my car just suddenly quit running right after I took them off. I will drive it more tomorrow
