Thanks for the info. I guess I should have thought about it. The dealer guys said it also had a 9in. Not. That was the first thing I checked. And there are no "GT"'s cast into the heads or the three "bars". I don't know where the computer is. Maybe under the battery?

At any rate, its a 5.0 with alot of bolt-on's making decent power. Call it 15% drivetrain loss on a 225hp motor. Thats 45hp gain if Ford rated the motor at the flywheel. I'll take that anyday.
We are past the "Cobra" question.

$15 grand in that motor and it only made 400hp...
I wish I had $15k right now haha
Ya, it was bulletproof. Built motor, race ported head, huge cams, two stages of nitrous, and every supporting mod you can think of. All I needed was an AEM EMS and a GT3076R; we're talking 500+hp on boost and combined nitrous shot of 150hp. I was only able to test/tune the second stage (Zex direct port) on a stock TD04LR turbo. It was 270hp on boost.

I spent my money on durability. That motor/clutch was going to hold 625hp. I just lost the drive to make a FWD car fast. I have had more fun in my 'stang this last week than I every did in the SRT4.

I was tired of paying the loan and it was becoming too expensive. I saved $400 a month by getting into Fox bodies.
