Tranny swap from T-5 to c4 mighty might
Do any of you guys have any first hand experience with a swap and what is exactly needed? And pictures and instructions would help.

mighty tall order to fill here with pics and all?? WELL, first thing you will need is a c-4 flexplate balanced for 50 ounce motor, c-4 tranny with a 157 tooth size smaller bellhousing = came on mustang II or can buy one from Jegs, cooler lines fabbed up and external cooler or radiator with cooler built in, torque convertor for what ever stall speed you want matched to cam rpm power range, a compatible shifter..like hurst rachet or B&M =MANY OTHER CHOICES TOO......you'll need the spacer plate between bellhousing and block...........But if it were me I'd go AOD cause overdrive sure is nice when needed.......there are a lot of companies out there that make good performance AOD'S.......And you may need headers for an Automatic if you have long tubes already, as I believe the Auto and 5 speed cars long tube headers are different to allow for neccessary clearence

Not to sure if you can swap over your t-5 tranny mount and or driveshaft but if you google the swap you should find companies that specialize in the swap list
