RE: trying to dip into the 12s...
I think your mods and power are enough to get you ionto the 12's. You have over 40 more horse than me, and I am getting a 13.3 in the 1/4....I think this weekend I will get a 13.1(I hope).
You just need some practice.

what is ur 60 ft's? like he said. dr's are alright but if you really wanna get there. try disconnecting your front sway bar, get some et streets with some skinnies up front. but if thats out of you price range. try disconnecting your front sway bar. that helps a lot surprisingly. it lets the front end come up and plant the tires better. do you sstill have some tire spin witht he drs?

shoot with a different motor in my 85 at one time I was running consistent 12.70's to 12.80's @105 ...you got it......what are your 60 ft times??? my guess is that's where you're losing it???

well i still spin a little with my d/r's but this was the first time i was at the track with them plus the track was very poorly preped my 60ft times were pretty consistant 2.0 wicth like what you saud 5.0stanger with some practice i could prob get it, and pro50 its a stick with a centerforce dual friction clutch still a stock t-5 with a 109k on it just waitin for that day for it to go... but i must say it still shifts very smoothly never giving me any probs at all... (knock on wood) haha
