Alright. I had a 1988 gt that ran a 13.7 on bald *** tires with no stall.

mildly ported lower intake
CAI
Ported Throttle Body
3.73 gears
Stock C-4
A whole lot of weight reduction.

The car weighed in at a mere 2780 lbs. without me in it.

Now I am gonna be buyin a 1993 lx.
It already has 3.90 gears. I plan on getting in the 12's on motor with these mods:

CAI
1 5/8 longtubes
AOD with a 3500 rpm stall
Ported Throttle Body
Fully ported Upper, Lower, and heads
E-cam
1.7 roller rockers
Power Steering, Smog Pump, and A/C deleted
Electric water pump
*** load of weight reduction
Diet
Slicks

Can it be done. I really think so.

I believe the lx notches are about 150-200 lbs lighter than the gt hatches so i am gonna be able to get it down to like 2500 lbsor so.

what i plan on doing with the suspension is using 90/10 shocks up front and placing a gt spring in the passenger rear. Thats the set up i had on my last car and it worked quite well

I think you could get 12's with some extra head work. What do you mean by ported TB?
