Default bbk long tube headers

Hello again. You will prob see a lot of threads from me because I just bought this mustang and its my first project car so naturally lots of question will arise. I have bought BBK long tube headers and they are on the car and sound damn good I may add, but the steering column catches on the header every once in a while mostly when slowing down and turning cause all the cars weight is forward obviously. I have raised the motor up some but it has vibrated back to its original place so I need another fix. If anyone has had this prob please tell me the solution. Thanks.

Check your engine mounts and your steering rack bushings.

I did unbolt the motor mounts you dorks and raised the motor then tightened them back up obviously not tight enough because it back to its original position on the mount. Now do you understand.

yea i get it now, but i just didnt think that doing that would make much of a difference. another trick you can try before you buy parts is to "shim" the motor with some washers. that usually does the trick
