331 Build-up.

RE: Pick up the 331 tomorrow!!!
Valid points... Don't know why I didn't get the 347. They were the same price, it's just that something told me to just stick with a 331 for what I have planned. So that's what I did. In a couple months when I swap the engines, I will have my stock block to do what ever with. I was thinking about building a low compression 347and go forced induction. My 331 is going to be about 10.3:1 CR with a 58cc head and stay N/A.
The engine that I might build will hopefully be going into a notch if I can ever find one!

RE: Pick up the 331 tomorrow!!!
Not planning on it but who really knows.
This is mainly my street car, so it will be driven a lot of miles 50% highway, 50% city, so it's not going to be too rediculous. I hope to get about 350 horses out of it, and 12's in the 1/4.
The new notch (whenever that happens) I want to make into a full drag car. Go all out with complete weight reduction and cage and all. Should be fun.

Well I finally got it unwrapped and onto the stand. My engine builder already painted the block black, should I keep it black or paint it Ford blue like I had originally intended? Here's a couple pics.

RE: Pick up the 331 tomorrow!!!
The TF heads finally arrived today! So the build will begin to progress shortly. (Probably Monday) I need to try to catch up to Adder. It is going a lot faster than I originally thought, so it shouldn't be long.
P.S. Thanks for the teaser Adder. [:@]
