Freeze out plug?

Default Freeze out plug?

The fox im bout to buy needs a "freeze out plug" says im gonna have to take out the transmission to put in a new oneIs this true? If so Im gonna change the clutch and Whatever else you guys reccomend

It's called a freeze plug. And yes, if it's in the back of the block the tranny has to come out.

Well besides a clutch is there any thing else ineed to look into doing while its out?

Rear main seal, flywheel, clutch, throw out bearing and pilot bearing. Also look at the clutch cable and tranny mount.

Good call, that is a must if you are going to spend the time doing a clutch.
