Freeze out plug?

Freeze out plug?
The fox im bout to buy needs a "freeze out plug" says im gonna have to take out the transmission to put in a new one
Is this true? If so Im gonna change the clutch and Whatever else you guys reccomend

Rear main seal, flywheel, clutch, throw out bearing and pilot bearing. Also look at the clutch cable and tranny mount.
