crown vic's got same injectors as mustangs.. because its the same motor
the 1/4 time for those #'s isnt too far off...
judging by your mph the car probably has stock gears and u got a bad launch

Hey guys. I'm really mad with my 89 5.0 Mustang. It has a lot of performance items in it and I only did 221 hp and 272 foot pounds of tq. It only ran a 14.5 a 98mph in the 1/4 mile. I need help! SSI's are crap.), shorty headers, Crown Victoria injectors (Those injectors are the same as the Mustang, most useless mod ever.), 155lph fuel pump, polished and ported heads(the stock ones) (Only slightly less useless than the Crown Victoria injectors.), an E303 FRPP Camshaft, and roller rockers. It is bored out to .30 over, and the compresion I got was 180 psi. It also has a2.5inch cat back with Thrush Mufflers and tailpipes, an electric fan(Not needed, the slight gain in horsepower is not worth the problems.), BBK under drive pulleys(5 Horsepower gained at most.), MSD Blaster Coil and spark plug wires. I don't have a fuel regulator, and it still has the stock throttle body (Trothel? What the **** are you on?), and I believe that the gears are 2.73:1 (Useless, that's the root of your problem, right there.), and the timing is set at either 12 or 14 degrees. It also has a 5 speed.
Read what I put in parenthesis. Horsepower and torque are right about where they should be. But you need gears for any of your modifications to be of any use.

The guy is asking for some help figuring out his Mustang's performance, not irrelevant comments about spelling and grammar. You guys here to talk performance or just looking for somebody to pick on?
Xnext.. if you're running 14.5's with 2:73 gears, a set of 3:73's should easily drop you into the high 13's. And that ain't bad
