bad tune or mod list isnt "all there"..
crown vic's got same injectors as mustangs.. because its the same motor
the 1/4 time for those #'s isnt too far off...
judging by your mph the car probably has stock gears and u got a bad launch

Just for the hell of it, and for the hell of my avatar, im going to correct your entire post, and i'm underlining all major misspellings and gramatical errors.

Hey guys. I'm really mad with my 89 5.0 Mustang. It has a lot of performance items in it and I only did 221 hp and 272 foot pounds of tq. It only ran a 14.5 a 98mph in the 1/4 mile. I need help! I don't have a fuel regulator, and it still has the stock throttle body (Trothel? What the **** are you on?), and I believe that the gears are 2.73:1 (Useless, that's the root of your problem, right there.), and the timing is set at either 12 or 14 degrees. It also has a 5 speed.
Read what I put in parenthesis. Horsepower and torque are right about where they should be. But you need gears for any of your modifications to be of any use.

Crown Vics don't have the H.O., and they have grey injectors and if memory serves me right, they are 16 lbs...

The guy is asking for some help figuring out his Mustang's performance, not irrelevant comments about spelling and grammar. You guys here to talk performance or just looking for somebody to pick on?
Xnext.. if you're running 14.5's with 2:73 gears, a set of 3:73's should easily drop you into the high 13's. And that ain't bad
