351 question
 
i tried the search engine, and i got nothing.... how much power does a H/C/I 351 make? i found a 351 short block pretty cheap and i was just wondering.. also, are any of my mods from the 302 compatable with the 351? thanks

351W + AFR 185 + .580 lift stroker cam + 10.5 c/r = 450-500hp flywheel

nothing worth swapping from your 302

wow i didnt think you would get that much with just bolt ons.... so my rpm 2 intake would not be able to bolt on it? what about my tranny?

it depends on the parts you use. a GOOD head cam and intake can make an easy 500hp

i want to keep i fuel injected.. thats why i was wondering if my rpm2 intake wold work on it.. afr 185's sound good.. would my computer work ona 351?

my rpm2 will not work... only the upperintake wiil work buti have to buy the 351 edel lower then port it to match my upper... trickflow has a 351 intake upper and lower but i dont like trickflow.... there is the spider intake but seems like alittle over kill for a mild set up (like r.barns)..

whats wrong with the spyder? i am putting one on my 347. it is bit of a wild set up but for a 351 it would be fine. also whats wrong with trickflow?

Nothing wrong with spider.
Get it from Edlebrock for lot cheaper too.

so the spider intakewould not be over kill for H/C.... still learning this stuff:D... i was going to get heads for my 302, but the price for a 351 hci is not much more... so for the swap you need a oil pan, headers, and what else?
