ok so... all is back together, it runs, ive taken it down the road and all...

new problems

needs a starter
needs a batt(or just needs to charge for a while)
needs a water pump(leaking out the weep hole)
and needs lifter(s)... it has a nice tap...

I would bet you have a bad batter connection considering all of a sudden battery and starter problems.

Good thing lifters and water pumps are cheap.

 

lol o ok... yea.... this car is straight up junk throw together... i mean think about it... heads off of a blown up motor, bottom end out of an 87 parts car, cheapest "drag" suspension you could do, cheap exhaust set up... and summit brand rims... im starting to realize, im poor

 

i did have a connection problem, and i fixed that, still same isssue, a little better, but still the same.

i have a waterpump off of the parts car, i guess ill try that one...no way to test it off the car is there?

and yea, lifters are cheap, but well... idk, i hope my dad will lend me the money or somethin

the car runs.
atleast u didnt go to all the trouble to swap the motor and it didnt even start.

 

Put your old lifters in...they were quiet

As far as the water pump, as long as it spins freely, I guess give it a shot. Remans at napa are only 20 to 30 bucks

 

well yea it runs, and im happy about that, i mean its all a bunch of junk put together, so yea deffinatly glad it runs, just hurts alot when its my DD and only car, lol... its just frusturating always having to work w. ****... i just wish, for once, id be able to actually get something new, lol. i guess being 19 and in college does that to ya...
