Default need help (motor decisions)..final decision

alright i have been on here a lot lately and received help from many of u thanks.

okay i have 80% of the things i need to rebuild my motor in my 91' gt i have already stashed away these parts
-trickflow twisted wedges
-edelbrock rpm 2 efi intake
-trickflow stage 1 cam(still undecided probably selling for an anderson cam
-crane 1.6 roller rockers and new tf pushrods, new ford lifters
-trickflow valve covers
-hv oil pump, full gasket kit,new waterpump
-30lb injectors , pro flow 75 mm maf for 30's
-arp rod bolts,intake bolts,head bolts,rocker studs
-and i know a DSS engine kit with new forged pistons(9.7 with the sock twisted wedges),wrist pins, moly rings, arp rod bolts, rod and main bearings(clevite),cam bearings, freeze plug kit

i am heavily debating in selling the block, motor kit, cam, and some other stuff and buy a shortblock already done from fordstrokers i have thought about both and doing the shortblock way it is only about 200 more bucks

what would u do? thanks

well if your prepared to wait 6-8 weeks for ford strokers...I'm in a bind so Ican't wait that longas that's how far backed up he is...I talked toJim/Woody last week for a 1/2 hour or so but the service is personal and he's great to deal with

yeah the one main worry/concern i have is putting all of this together parts, machine work, tune, $4000-5000 is runnin the dss pistons.

as i have heard quite a few horror stories lately as a couple of them have been wrist pin/piston wrist pin hole problems as 1 or 2 of them i have heard on here.

u see i am a little worried puttin this much money into it and having problems off the bat
