100 shot or 347 (winter project)
Alright last winter was myHCI swapand this winter it is either a rebuildfor the 302 (110k) and a 100shot or a 347.
I would go with a 347 since I love having the power all the time but how does it affect drivability since this is my dd
I already have full hci trickflow stuff with steeda#19 cam
I already upgraded to 30lb injectors 75mm maf and a 255lph fuel pump etc.Now I just need to decide which way to go.
I figured either way they would end up costing around 1200buks so. What way do you think I should go and why?

RE: 100 shot or 347 (winter project)
I'm new here but not new to hotrods or Fords in general. If you are going for a rebuild anyway, I would go with the stroker. You are already tearing into the engine and already taking it to the machine shop (assuming your boring 0.30), so you are already spending a bit of the money needed for the change. Also, stroker kits can be found pretty cheap..

How much would machine work cost if I stroked it. I really do not know that much about stroker kits. I know I would have to get the block punched out .30 over but would I have to get the cranckshft balanced if sohow much doesit usuallycost to balance and bore it over???
