Default Lunati Cams ?

Lunati is now part of the Holley family.

Are their cams any good? Thinking about a HR Turbo cam they make
Hear their name every now and then. Any experiences?

I love the logo for the VooDoo cams, so that made me look into buying one, but theyre more for old muscle cars. I trust Holley, though so I think Lunati should be good too.

A bit of history about Lunati cams. MANY years ago(mid 60s), I was in a hot rod club in Memphis (Memphis Rodders). There was a guy in the club named Joe Lunati. At the time he was a baker for Colonial Bread. He ran a B Modified Sport drag car that was a Devin body sitting on an Altered chassis. In '65 (I think), he won competition eliminator at the NHRA Nationals in Indy. Ground his own cams! Started doing it for other racers, then finally went full time at it. I left Memphis in '66 and lost track of him. Obviously Holley bought the company at some time or other.

All this, of course, has NOTHING to do with your question. Just brought back some old memories.

i have no personal experience with them, but there was one in the motor that i bought. i cant see holley, being the big name that they are, having an a bad product. in your case though r.barn i would think that a custom cam would prolly work the best. i mean hell you've spent quite a bit of money on that beast so far, why not just add another custom part to the bin. but i suppose as long as the cam matches your set up it should work just as well

Got a price on it and at $350 I'll probably go ahead and get a custom cam for same money.
