Hi,
I have a 1995 GT that is stock except for the full exhaust and a short throw shifter. I Bought the car a few weeks ago for $3000 and i don't have lots of money to spend because of the wife, kids and bills......you know. So i was just wondering what mods i could do to get more power out of the car that would not break the bank. I would greatly appreciate your responses on what to do. Thanks.

Gears.. It wont add more power but it will make you feel like you added alot of power...Alot better acceleration.

Auto= 4.10
Manual= 3.73

Ok 4.10 gears. Will i need to do any thing else when adding this? I thing i remember someone saying the higher the number the lower the gear ratio? Will this kill my gas Mileage? This would also throw off my speed od correct? Any other upgrades in mind? Thanks. Also how would this affect my top speed?

as everyone says its all about your goals for the car. you can always start out with bot ons: cold air, underdrive pullies, intake manifold (gt40, typoon, holley, eddy), i defintaly agree with gears tho. i have 3.73 and they are better than sliced bread.
