want to clean top of intake manifold...whatd you use?
 

I want to just clean up the top surface of my Edelbrock intake manifold. What should i use to do this. Any ideas?

What is on top? Just dirt? Or grime? If it is tough stuff I would spray a good layer of Goo-gone on it and let it sit for a few seconds making sure that it doesn't dry, then scrub it off with a terry cloth. If that doesn't work then try something like simple green.

Yeah, the key is not to let whatever you use dry. You will most certainly stain the manifold if you do, (personal experience talking!) When you have it all cleaned don't be afraid to put a coat of your favorite wax on it to keep the shine.
