horsepower estimate?

RE: horsepower estimate?
If the stock carb is in good working order, yes it should pick up some power. Doesn't the car choke and stumble with that carb on there? Where did you get that 750 carb, and I am assuming that is was not jetted down for your engine? I can't even believe that it is running correctly.

first things first these are 20+ year old cars, things WILL break, so be prepare to start replacing things like shocks, fuel pump, accesories, etc, and if you want your T5 to last dont bang on it so hard

What all do you have done? You mentioned a new filter, and you chopped off the cats. Has a full tune up been done to the car? This can really help out a car that has a few years on them like our cars do. So routine maintenance like oil and filter, spark plugs, plug wires, fuel filter, pcv valve, etc. If you have access to a timing light, you can advance the timing a few degree's to pick up a few free HP that are hiding.

RE: horsepower estimate?
The stock carb is a 600cfm Holley 4V . As long as the 650 is not a double pumper, then it would benefit his set-up especially with new heads. Of course in order to gain full potential of the carb, it would have to be jetted by someone who knows a thing or two about carbs.
