My 94 has 130,000 and the 88 has 95,000. I did the basic tune up on the 94 - plugs, wires, coil, cap & rotor, K&N, fuel filter, timing advance. Sometimes when I get on the gas, it goes like hell, but most of the time it just doggs out. Its like it has an attitude problem. Any suggestions? Most of the time the throttle response is not where it should be. When I first bought it, it would backfire through the intake often. That has mostly gone away, but it does it once in a great while.

Mine backfires through the exhaust from 1st gear to2ndgear, kind of scary loud, and not exactly sure why.

come on guys, we all know sn95 gt's are slower stock for stock. u said it ur self less horses plus they weigh more. i have smoked every single sn95 i have messed with in my town, and not just a lil, but badly.the fox is a fair amount lighter. im so sick of uninformed idiots posting on here because they send people into wondering whats wrong with their cars when they make statements saying that..... since the 88 is faster that there must be somethimg wrong with the 94....thats bs11
yes the 88 is faster stock. chalk it up, but the 94 handles alot better
. anyways no biggie, but a stock 94-98 isnt beating a stock fox from 85-93 if its a t5, i dont know about the cobras, on that ask adder, he would know hes the sn95 guru when it comes to cobras

what 40 hp???? if that? what is the cobra 275hp? and a 92 is 225hp and weighs alot less.the hp doesnt make up for shyt. driver error could be a win or lose in these 2 cars

add a tune to that, and I made 276rwhp
Most GT's whether they be a fox or SN, only make about 190whp-200 at the most (stock)
so cobra's are not slow
