i'm trying get something differant......its either welds or cobra rims that's being going on for years
i feel the same way...the only problem is, if you go 17's, the deep dish only comes in a 10.5" wide rim, which we have trouble fitting on our rears...so my solution is as follows : 17x9" Torq Thrust (all torq thrusts come with a lip) for the rear, and 17x8" bullit replica for the front...

but if you go 18's, which in my oppinion look too gawdy on fox bodies, you can get an 18x9 with the lip out back

before you bash, I know the tread is going the wrong way, i just took the first wheel off the top to see what it would look like. I'm also planning on dropping 1.7" in the front, so it'll look a little tighter in the wheel well. (it's also missing the cobra center cap)

the rims actually look pretty good but they're not really "deep dish" rims

well they are technically deep dish...I was going to get 10" for the rears, which have a much more noticable lip on them, but I would have had to do some custom modding to the wheel well, so decided to pass

umm ok. if you think that they are deep dish thats fine. but generally when you say deep dish rims, you think of a rim that actually has a larger than normal lip on it. looks more like thin crust than deep dish to me. just type in "cobra r deep dish" or look here

not tryin to start anything, just tryin to set it straight

no I hear ya. Not trying to argue with you...you're right that they aren't quite "deep" dish, just have more of a lip on them. The 10" that I was planning on getting for the rears had the same difference to the 9" as the two rims on the bottom of your link...so ya, non deep dish i guess
