How can I get a softer clutch pedal?

dont want to jack your thread...but I have a ram clutch in mine and its hard as hell to push the pedal in.

Replace it. What clutch is in it now?
so are you saying I should replace the pedal assembly or the actual clutch...cause the clutch is brand new.

I bought it from a guy about 2 yrs ago and he said it has a king cobra. But the pedal is stiff as hell. I was thinking of getting a new centerforce clutch and a clutch quadrant kit. Maybe that will help.

Yeah, I would try a new cable first. If that doesn't help, it's a problem w/ the pressure plate.

Not the pedal assem. What condition is the cable in and what clutch did you install?

I have a ram clutch with a ford racing clutch cable. I have a firewall adjuster, but didn't install it because Im pretty sure thats why my last cable snapped. It seems like I have to have the cable really really tight in order to put the car into gear.
