I have an 88 LX 5.0 vert and the door sticker says 4198.

thats gross weight, mine says 4200, thats the full capacity of the car that it can handle fully loaded

That's crazy, everyone is always saying the fox isso much lighterthan Sn95s, mine was only 3300 fully loaded.

lol, better have that scale serviced , your probably about 3600 lbs w/ nobody in it

on a dot certified scale +/- 10 lbs ......

my '90 lx 'vert was 3450 w/ 1/2 tank of gas and no driver

and

my '93 notch was 3250 w/ 1/2 tank and no driver

just drive by a truck stop.....it's $5 or $10 to drive on the scale, write down the important stuff and you weigh it later on a house scale to add/delete weight

so if your 3500 and 1/4 tank, you know that gas is about 7.5 lbs/gal (thats a guess , i just know it's lighter than water which is 8.34) you can estimate, also swapping out to lighter wheels, taking the sway bars or spare tire out etc.

just to keep track of it all
