intake manifold has dull looking color.....
My intake manifold has a very dull, sort of worn out color on it right now. I want to make it look a bit more shiny and appealing. What could i do, any ideas. I'm looking for something i can do with something i buy cheaply. Would just a wax make it look good, and if so what kind of wax. Idk any ideas?

ya when i swapped my intakes i just bought some gloss high heat black spray paint, sanded down the upper, wiped it down, n sprayed it with a couple coats till i got what i was lookin for..i think it looks way better than just the stock grey,,if thats what ur workin with is the stock...if you have a aftermarket thats polished or something then thats different

nah its carburated, ive got an Edelbrock performer rpm manifold on there, but i think a few coats of grey will make it look nice. I don't really know what else to do.

Buy some cast iron paint from any auto shop, it is used to repaint accessories, or heads. I used it on my tranny in my 91, will probably do the same in my 94. Looked like brand new. It will make your intake look new as well.
