I thought the sn axles were longer than fox axles, as far as adders comment goes.

no not true 86 was the first year of the 8.8 in a mustang and it came it the 5.0

they are.. by 3/4" on each side. But this gives a slightly wider stance in the rear of the car, which some people like.

94-98 housings are the same as the fox. If you dont want to use the 5-lug, just swap in your axles and the overall width will be the same. The extra width of the SN95 axles is for the exciter rings for the ABS.
