7 yrs ago I put all the wire harnesses that draped or hung in the engine bay in the fenders, and I’ve never had 1 problem since I done this.
I only extended 2 sets of wires; 1 set for the A/C compressor and the other set to the overflow bottle, all the other wires and connectors are exactly like they were when they were exposed in the engine bay.
