Default Help with picking Exhaust

I found out that the flowmasters that i had on the stang when i got it were 50 series, and they are just not loud enough, im looking to get a full exhaust system with cats( to keep it legal) and dont want to spent a teribe amont on it. so if anyone has any info on a good exaust with a nice sound. im open to almost anything and im looking for something that sounds great and can be heard from around. You Know What I Mean

Go with only 2 cats instead of 4. Get some nice headers, h or x pipe, and listen to the exhaust thread in the stickies.... there are a ton of different combo's on there so you can listen to them and see what you like. I'm going with bbk headers, bbk none cated x pipe(already installed), and i'm picking my mufflers as soon as i get $$$, probably gonna go with some 40 series flows.

I have a Pypes catted x, Pypes s.s cat-back w/ violator mufflers and i really like the sound. The price was good too. Also BBk s.s. shorties. Just another option for you.

Some guys live in areas where you don't have to get inspections so that's one way. Others may keep the old midpipe and swap it in when inspection time rolls around. A few others may have a friend at an inspection station who "hooks them up"... Lots of different ways.
