well if it was good running i wouldnt be... incase u didnt catch it in other threads, or maybe this one... i threw 2 rods... not drag racing... so i kind of had to get a new bottom end... then i spun a roller lifter... i have to get a cam/lifters... then one of the cam bearings fell out... means the blocks prolly ****ed... im getting a good deal on another good shortblock...

so i dont see wtf ur point is?

dude i feel ur pain for real. ive been throwing money at my car since i bought it. im in the same boat n all. im 21 out on my own n all that ish. but seriously ive had the same thoughts of selling n whatever else. forget the beater, if you really look at it youre still buying someone elses probs. my rear is gone the clutch is chattering, everything vibrates, shakes, rattles etc.etc. ur 19 but from what ive seen u know your s*** n what ur doing. me n friend always say to do it right the first time...but like you know then the total becomes so high. i wanted to rebuild my rear but i found a guy that had one comp. for $200 with 3:55's its gonna suck but bite the bullet repair what u have. and also u might not think it broke from racing or using the gas, but its that abuse that leads up to this situation, amongst other things. but u know the deal. n no theres no dick sucking or nething dude just voiceing my opinion, n situation.

dime for now the time being u need a junkyard 5.0 just to get the car literally moving, and if for some ungodly reason u cant find any, there is a junkyard near me that has like 8 of em. so dont do anything with the cam right now, get a motor first then when u have time mess with it or just **** that sbf and go with a real motor a bbf 460.
