im swapping my v6 for a rebuilt 5.0. the tranny thats with the new 5.0 is a C-4.i also have a t-5 tranny.would a t-45 thats normally on the 99-04 gt hold up for the horsepower being thrown? if anyone has a tranny im interested in buying a mate soon. or trade my tranny. t-5 has been rebuilt. also any 5.0 parts someones interested in ridding. message me.faily new parts preferably

T45 won't bolt up to a 5.0. What's been done to the 5.0?

we are building it now. forged pistons, new crank, valves. not too too much. would my t-5 hold up to this?

A T5 should be fine for that.
One of my friends has a built 306 with h/c/i and a Vortech supercharger and still uses a stock T5.

Im bolting up a stock T5 to my h/c/i car soon.

I ran 12.50s with a stock one and never broke it. You should be fine.
