RE: insurance on the 5.0's
how long do tickets stay on your record? like w/o getting annother? i think its 3yrs but im not sure.. i currently have 2.. got them not even driving my own vehicles.. 1. was 110 (cop said 80 but it was 110, he just saw me blur by) in a 40.. on a 95 ninja 600rand 2. driving my friend to the police station cuz he didnt have a license in his car 70 in a 55.. got both reduced to state min of $100 its been a little over a year since the last.
currently my car is under my dad's insurance. he said he will pay it until i get out of college. he doesnt help me pay for college tho. but i do have my bike on the road but thats like $260/yr lol 86 honda interceptor 500.
im just currious if i will have a clean record or not when im out. im on beginning of 3/5 years well thats if i dont get annother ticket.. hah

I'd guess how long points stay on your license depends on the state you're in. In New York points stay on your license for 18 months, DUI, DWI and DWAI stay on your record for 10 years.

points stay on your license in pennsylvania for a year starting the day you recieved the letter telling you your points, for my i got till next july to behave haha, i got three points but my insurance never went up from it tho. But the DUI's and such stay on your record for 10 years down here too.

40 of my tickets were in illinois, with supervision if you don't get another ticket during the supervision time then the ticket never goes on your record, in florida i'm piling up the points fast. I think i can only get 2 more in the next 10 months

I'm 21, have no tickets, and my car is listed as a 4 cylinder. $330 Canadian per month just for the basic insurence. I KNOW it will go down though, its only my first car. For how much fun the car is to drive, it's well worth the money!
