As a matter of fact I'm running a aluminum fidanza flywheel in two of my mustangs one in my 85 and one in my 66.......they both worked great and I wouldn't worry about the theroies and quote un quote mythsas I call them .....because I neverreally noticed a huge reduction in having to rev more to get the car to take off...but there are a ton of other things good and bad people will tell you about them..but having experience using two in two seperate and completely different builds in my cars.....they have really worked great and have removable balance weights for either 28 oz or 50 oz motors so I say go for it..mine are street driven and have had no drivability issues at allthey are suppose to free up to 15 rwhp
If you get the whole assembly balanced anyway, you could have the late model crank balanced to 28/28. The 50/50 is also 32/50. Technically the weight factor of the balancer for 50oz is 32oz, but since it's used with the 50oz flywheel balance it's also refered to as a 50oz balancer.
