You posted your 60 a .2117, if you meant 2.117 you should have been in the low 14's. You might have wasted some time by shifting at around 6k, youstart losing power a few hundred rpm's before that. The last time i ran a stock mustang, i had a best of 2.298 60 foot and ran 14.297 in 1/4. Work on that thing this winter, i'll be working on mine too and we'll hit reynolds in the spring.

It was a screw up. I meant 2.298. I will go back and correct that, thanks.

Yeah, my slowest 60' was 2.2X and I have a few 2.1's.
The fastest run was shifting at almost 6k, all the other times were at 5.5k, but of course I had to mess with the timing.
Another thing, I read on the other thread that if I leave my foot on the gas while I shift, I can drop as much as 2 tenths. I shift pretty fast, so fast when I drove my friends civic, I broke the shift lever in half, would I gain much by keeping it down the whole time?

I have a feeling I just messed up my 60' though, cut the springs...

You need to practice power shifting alot before you actually do it at the track, you'll easily break something if you miss it. I've never done it with a t-5 but know people who do on occasion. I've tried it a few time's with my TKO 600, but never at track (i cant stay running long enough to get to track). If this is you dd i would not want to do it with the t-5 unless you get really good at it.
