Paxton vs Powerdyne vs Vortech
Im gettin to add some boost to my Notch. I have been looking into some superchargers but I was just wondering if I could get some feedback from people who already has them. The limit Im wanting to spend is 3,500. If you have one you are looking to sell let me know.

Well I was looking at the Paxton Novi, Powerdynes kit is 1,000 cheaper but you get what you pay for. They say the paxton can go up to 27psi as the powerdyne isnt to prone to anything higher 6psi. Im wanting to run 10-12 psi.

Most people dont know this...Vortech owns Paxton now...so either one is the same High Quality....
Stay away from Powerdynes...here is what I posted last week for someone on Powerdynes....
Here is my quick story/experience with Powerdyne and why I think Powerdynes SUCK...
I blew my belt and bearings running 9psi....unit was rebuilt prior to my purchasing the car....no problem...took off the blower and sent it to be rebuilt...back to Powerdyne last October....
After not hearing from Powerdyne for 2 months after numerous emails and calls...I finally spoke with someone who told me they had no bearings and the unit could not be fixed for at least another 2 months until they get the parts....the end of the story is the blower could not be repaired...the bearings had ruined the blower housing and it was junk...
Also there was a kid on this forum sskiller who had his powerdyne blow up...the impeller exploded and went into his motor..of course blowing it..
I did alot of research on the internet and learned that Powerdynes usually have to be rebuilt between 1k and 5k miles depending on how hard you drive them...to me that is unacceptable...
You will hear stories from people that have had success with them but they are far fewer than the horror stories....
As I said last winter...I figured out how to make my Powerdyne reliable....I bought a Vortech!!!!

If anybody might be interested I have a 02 Honda 400ex fully built, All extended I will trade strait up for a complete Vortech or paxton system. I really appreciate the info on powerdyne. I have done my share of homework onPowerdyne also and i dont know how they stay in business.
