Default 94-95 f-cam

i was talking to a friend who said he had a f-cam in a bone stock 94-95 gt is this possible becouse that is what i wont to do any help would be apprecited

Sure it's possible. I had a friend with a TFS stage 1 in his and it did give him an idle quality fit but with some tweaking and a little pulling your hair out you can correct it within reason without a custom chip or piggy back computer. If you are after power, a cam change isn't going to do a bunch, but it will sound good.

thank you but i have a 94 motor converted back to an 85 carb just an intake and carb & haeders so do you think i still should try the f-cam

I wouldn't bother, unless ofcourse you have a head swap also. Could do much better than the F cam too for that matter.

i have not had a head change or any internals what would be my best choice it is a 5speed car i like it to have a good lope like the drag cars thank you

guy here locally just put f cam in a bone stock 94gt.....had it dynoed. the car lost power over the stock cam. with the fcam the car put down 174to the wheels

It should sound good but all that work and wasted money from gaskets and vlave springs on poor cylinder heads isn't worht some sound to me. I would wait until you can get the heads and an intake then do it all at once. Then you'll have performance to back up the lumpy idle.
