Default stock TB size?

whats the stock size throttle body on a mass air 5.0? whats a good size to go to? I was thinking 70mmT/B with a 73mm MAF, or would a 65mmTB be better suited for my motor? all stock minus the usual bolt on goddies, pullies, exhaust etc....

BBK a good brand? I know they make good headers or is there a summit brand thats just as good?

65 would be good for what you have,Depending though onif you plan on buying an intake later onand if you plan on doing a heads and cam swap would effect it too since im sure you do not want to buy the same thing twice and would be smart to have a throttle body that matches the size on whatever intake you plan on buying in the future. Also if you go bigger than 65 you will probably have to cut open the hole on the intake because its only 65mm. The summit brand is a bbk throttle body and pro products are good and real cheap blue oval industries has em real cheap.

cool, thanks

I may just run a 65, I'm gonna hunt around for a cobra or GT40 intake (tubular hopefully) come spring when the Carisle swap meet comes to town, but if I cant find one, I may just stick with the stocker for a while. doing alot to this motor I dont wanna risk, its my DD and has 123,XXX miles on it, so a few more boltons are my goal. no nitrous though... I wanna build a Boss Block 347 (like the one from stolen goods) only funding is very short dude to college and my crap job.... when I graduate my present to myself is that motor

thanks for the info
