im new to the 5.0 i usually deal with the mod motors. im thinking about trading for a 94 s/c coupe and was wondering if there is any thing i should look for. also will this be a reliable car for me, i know the 5.0 have forged internals but has anyone had any bad experiences with 5.0s running on allittle boost in daily driven conditions

Does 94 still have forged pistons? I thought they stopped that in 92 because 93 was a little different in the tuning for national emitions output (and "rated" at less hp but i doubt there was a difference)
But as your looking at the car just remember that you usually get what you pay for, if you get it for dirt cheap then be ready to replace crap that breaks, and if you're paying top doller then it better be worth it.

Those pistons may not be stock.. Stock from 93 (and up I believe) were hypers..not forged. Get more info on the car.... link, pictures, we something to work with
