Default modified exhaust violation

well i got a ticket on saturday night like 2 blocks away from my house...im currently running off-road h-pipe and flow masters dumped does any one know of a way to quiet it down abit like maybe switching to a different muffler..thanx for your help

thats wat i was think but i wondering if it would pass a "db" test i read some where that in the state of california it cant be louder than 93db i think im not sure

is it just a "fix it ticket" or what? cuz there are a few ways to rig the exhaust to make it quieter for a short while

cop tryed writing me a exhaust ticket without checking it with a db meter i told him to get lostthey go tnothing better to do over here in new york

id slap the slp loudmouth IIs on there lol...that would at least give them an actuall excuse to say its loud..but ya tailpipes will help alot...n i just idle past cops whenever i see then that way i dont have to worry at all

Offroad H and Flows dumped can be heard from pretty far away, the bass travels. Tailpipes willl make it a lil quieter but if you want to tone it down some without switching mufflers put some high flow cats on it.

Are you sure it 93 db's? it might be closer to 86db's, I have a meter and I check our R/C club sound on the airplanes @ 9 meters, and exhaust has to point to it, no down turned pipes. Checking on hard ground will increase thevolume and a grassy type ground will absorb the sound (lower the volume)
Try to back upit toa grassy spot behide you.
Most lawnmowers don't pass.
