Default cold air

ok not that im cheap or anything lol..but i like the looks of the jlt cold air but dont want to pay the 200 dollars. Ive read about people makin there own and i figured it shouldnt be too hard. couple hose clamps n a piece of pvc thats the same size or close to the throttle body..drill in the hold n put in the intake temp sensor, and the deal for the tube going to the oil filler..then maybe paint it gloss black since my intake n other random things are gloss black already. any opinions?..i figure itd clean up the engine bay some with just the tubing instead of the air box and the flex tubing on there and i got plenty of time to get it done lol...next spring

It would just be smarter if you went with the kit.

i dont think it makes him gay.. cold air is cold air, all your doing is paying for the brand name anyways.. if you wanted gloss black heres a cool one for cheap and now you dont have to worry about building your own.

Go with an eBay kit man, it's 40-50 bucks and doesn't look, well, like you built it yourself. That one Stella posted is I think the same one i just got, I haven't installed it yet but it looks awesome

K&N Filters arent exactly cheap, and you're still left with the ugly airbox and intake piping.
