Those SVO's are nice, my friends dad has one and it has been sitting around for years. It has good interior and excellent body shape. I keep trying to talk my friend into buying and fixing it up.

The engines are built right from the factory, there are a bunch of guys pushing 400 hp on stock shortblocks, kinda like a miniature terminator motor in strength. One guy that I know of is pushing 30psi on his stock shortblock with over 150,000 miles on it. If you go to stinger performance's web sit there is a guy running low twelves I think on a 200k mile motor in a 87-93 coupe (now has been rebuilt I believe but still...) It is called project bolt-on

if you already have a v-8 car go for a change and get the svo..but build it right so it'll handle the gosh awful amounts of boost you plan to give it or you'll pop head gaskets left and right

the blocks are supposed to be able to support about 700hp, the difference between driving a 2.3t or a 5.0 is liek a 4 stroke vs. a 2 stroke. they both got ***** and theyre both fast, but the 2 stroke is one hell of a wilder ride.
